2023

Wigan Youth Zone: Patronage 

Opened in 2013, Wigan Youth Zone is a purpose built, state of the art facility which offers young people across Wigan, aged 8-19 (up to 25 with additional needs), a safe space to socialise, learn new skills and access support. The centre has over 15 dedicated areas for young people to choose from, including football pitches, music rooms, art rooms and a climbing wall. The centre has had a massive impact on the young people who use the facility.  

We are proud to have become a patron of the Charity, joining the fantastic business community that support this amazing work. Our Business Development and Bid Manager, Andrea Ratcliffe, attended Wigan Youth Zone’s 10-year anniversary Business Breakfast to collect our Bronze Patronage.

We have recently been awarded Gold Standard for The Deal for Business (Wigan Council); this is a fantastic achievement and only a small number of businesses have been awarded this standard.

Wigan Borough depends on businesses to create an economy that is successful and sustainable, promoting opportunity, growth, and innovation, we are proud to be able to support our local area to create opportunities for all.
